4v4/2v2 Season 2, Sniper Season 1

Season one of the FF.PL 2v2 Sniper league will start the week of April 4th, 2009!

Make sure to check out the Sniper league rules and grab the Sniper league package. Remember, exec the ffpl_snipe.cfg and THEN changelevel to the league map.

Season two of the FF.PL 2v2 and 4v4 leagues will start the week of April 4th, 2009!

Max players in the 4v4 league has been increased to 8 this season.

It is saddening me to see that there are atleast 4 clans that are not playing thier matches. Why join a league? This game is starting to thrive with a solid community base. Developers that are dedicated in making this game as smooth as possible, and not to mention considering the communities thoughts. You guys cried when there was no 4v4 league. Well here it is. Start doing something about it. 4v4 is going to be as fun as it gets. Play your matches or be removed simple as that.

FF.PL restarting for version 2.2

So, let's do this right this time.

There is a default day and time in the rules. If you do not communicate with the opposing team and reschedule the match for another day, your match MUST be played at 9PM EST on SUNDAY NIGHT. If neither team has enough (or both forfeit), BOTH teams will get a forfeit LOSS for that week.

Also, there is a new addition to the rules regarding scheduling.

Match schedules are posted each SUNDAY night. Match days and times are OPEN, meaning teams are to agree upon a day and time to play. You have until the following SUNDAY NIGHT to play the match and it must be reported by that SUNDAY NIGHT. If no match day/time can be agreed upon by either team, the match must be played at 8PM EST on SUNDAY NIGHT.

Sniper

2v2 Sniper league open!

2v2 Sniper league is now open for signups. There is a minimum of two players per team, with a maximum of three. The rules are still being drafted.

Also, the FF.PL is looking for someone to admin this new sniper league. If you're interested, PM me (squeek.) on the Fortress-Forever forums.

Discuss rules, a possible new lua gametype, and everything else in the 2v2 sniper league thread on the FF forums.
